The 21st IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions (ICARSC2021) is an international scientific meeting in the field of Mobile Robotics financially co-sponsored by the Portuguese Robotics Society, IEEE Portugal Section and IEEE Portugal RAS Chapter and technically sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS). The
ICARSC conference is currently a top international scientific conference in the
field of autonomous robotics and competitions.
This conference is promoted by the University of Aveiro, University of Coimbra, Instituto Politécnico de Tomar and the Portuguese Society of Robotics, with the support from Santa Maria da Feira City Council and logistic
support from Modal Creativity.
The conference will take place in Europarque at Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, from 28 to 29 of April 2021, in conjunction with the Portuguese Robotics Open, a RoboCup-sponsored Local Event with several other associated competitions. Its scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Education. The conference is being planned both for physical and virtual participation, and adjustments due to the pandemic may be introduced. Edition: due to the COVID19 pandemic, the conference will take place only in virtual mode.
The conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. As in previous editions, a Special Issue of extended selected papers is planned for publication in an international journal indexed by Thomson ISI Web of Knowledge.
