The objective of the Robot Dragster competition is to promote robotics and education in the field of engineering, within a framework of competition based on fair play principles. Additionally, it is intended that the creation of competition tracks be easy and cheap, so that it is possible to implement this competition even in institutions with fewer resources. The competition is open to participants from higher education institutions, primary and secondary schools and to participants who apply individually.
