PORTUGUESE ROBOTICS OPEN
The Portuguese Robotics Open 2023 (FNR2023) will take place at Pavilhão Jácome Ratton in Tomar, from April 28 to 30, 2023, promoted by the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT) and by the Portuguese Robotics Society, with support from Ciência Viva, the logistical support of Agrupamento de Escolas Templários and the Municipality of Tomar to carry out the event.

PORTUGUESE ROBOTICS OPEN
The Portuguese Robotics Open promotes Science and Technology among young people, teachers, researchers and the general public, through autonomous robot competitions. Held annually in different cities, this event also includes a Scientific Meeting (ICARSC 2023), where national and foreign researchers in the field of Robotics are given the opportunity to present their latest research results in their field.

ROBOCUP
At the Portuguese Robotics Open , Portuguese teams are selected for the RoboCup, a world-wide robotics competition, which brings together the best teams from each country, and in which Portugal already has a track record of good results.
About
STEAM EDUCATION
The robotics competitions are intended to promote the innovative, entrepreneurial spirit in children and young people through active teaching methods, as well as the acquisition of transversal skills, also promoting this area to the general public.
ORGANIZATION
The 2023 edition of the Portuguese Robotics Open is co-organized by the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT) and by the Portuguese Robotics Society, with logistical support of Agrupamento de Escolas Templários and the Municipality of Tomar.

Major Leagues - About 3D Simulation League
The 3D Simulation League may have teams participating in person or remotely (online).
The 3D Simulation League with remote participation (online only) has a fixed price = 100 Euros.

Travel to Tomar
You can reach the city of Tomar by train, bus or car.
By Bus
A) From Lisbon-Tomar or Porto – Tomar: Consult the Rede Expressos website for timetables and ticket booking.
By Train
To check timetables and tickets to Tomar, click here.
From Lisbon (south) at Oriente station, you can take a regional train direct to the city of Tomar.
From Porto (north) Airport: There is a direct connection from the airport to the Metro station. Take the metro to ‘Campanhã Train Station. From Campanhã station, you can buy a train ticket to Tomar. Note: You will need to change trains at Entroncamento station.
By Car
A) From Lisbon (from South) – Take the A1 motorway (A1 NORTE) to the north. Take the exit towards A23-N110-N243 towards Abrantes – Castelo Branco – Torres Novas – Tomar – Alcanena.
Take the A23 and exit towards Tomar/Coimbra, via the A13. Then you will have a first exit 17 to Tomar Sul (towards the city center) and then a second exit (exit 18) to Tomar Este which gives direct access to the IPT campus.
